Authorities said the car hit a pedestrian on the 1800 block of East Torresdale Avenue just before midnight on May 29. The 44-year-old victim later died from his injuries.
The driver fled north on Torredale and was last seen on the 4000 block, according to investigators.
The car is described as a silver or white Mitsubishi Outlander from model years 2016-2020. It has damage on the undercarriage and the left front wheel well liner from the accident, police said.
